How to Add Artwork to Your iTunes Music on a PC

Many songs in your iTunes library may appear without an artwork because of different sources from which you import the music. This post shows you how to add an artwork to your music.

Download Artwork from iTunes for Multiple Albums

Launch iTunes

  • Launch iTunes from your computer.

Click Menu Button

  • Click the menu button Menu Button in the top-left corner.

Click “Library”

Click Get Album Artwork

  • Click “Library” in the drop-down list.

Click “Get Album Artwork”

  • Click on the “Get Album Artwork” option in the “Library” list.

Confirm

Confirm

  •  Click “Get Album Work” to confirm downloading from iTunes. iTunes will start processing immediately. [1]

Access iTunes Music Library

  • Launch iTunes and access music library by clicking the library button Libarary Button in the upper-left corner of iTunes.

Access Music Library

  • Click “Albums” tab to view music in albums mode.

Right Click on the Album

  • Right click on the album to which you want to add artwork.

Click “Get Album Artwork”

  • Find “Get Album Artwork” option and click on it. If a confirmation box pops up, simply click “Get  Album Artwork” button to continue. iTunes will start processing immediately.

Manually Add Artwork to Individual Song

Access iTunes Music Library

  • Launch iTunes from your computer and access iTunes music library by clicking the library button Libarary Button in the upper-left corner of iTunes.

Access Music Library

  • Click on the “Songs” tab to view music in Songs mode.

Right Click on the Song

  • Right lick on the song to which you want to add artwork.

Click “Get Info”

  • Find “Get Info” option in the list and click on it. An info box about the song will pop up.

  • Click “Artwork” tab on the info box.

  • Drag the image file from your computer to the artwork area [2] and then click “OK”.

Manually Add Artwork to Multiple Songs

Access iTunes Music Library

  • Launch iTunes from your computer and access iTunes music library by clicking the library button Libarary Button in the upper-left corner of iTunes.
  • Click on the “Songs” tab to view music in Songs mode.

Select Multiple Songs

  • Press and hold the “Ctrl” key on your keyboard and then click the songs to which you want add artwork to select them.

Right Click on the Songs

  • Right click on the songs that you have selected.

Click “Get Info”

Right Click on the Songs

  • Find “Get Info” option in the list and click on it. An info box about the song will pop up. [3] A Multiple Item Information box will pop up.

Drag Image

Drag Images to the Artwork Area

  • Drag the image file from your computer to the artwork area and then click “OK”.
