Facebook allows you to decide who can see your posts. The following steps show you how to do that.
Set up When Composing Posts
1. Sign in to Facebook
Visit www.facebook.com and sign in with your username and password.
2. Select Audience
- click in the posts composing field, an audience selector tool icon
will appear beside the post button
.
- Click on the
button, you will be able to specify who have access to your posts:1. Public: everyone can see your posts.
2. Friends: only friends can see your posts.
3. Only me: only you can see your posts.
4. Custom: You can custom who can and who can not see your posts. [1]
Set up on Settings Page
1. Sign in to Facebook
Visit www.facebook.com and sign in with your username and password.
2. Go to Settings Page
- Click on the gear icon
in the top right corner of the page.
- Click “Settings” in the list to go to “Settings” page.
3. Go to Privacy Page
- Click the “Privacy” tab on the left of the page to go to the “Privacy” setting page.
4. Edit Privacy Settings
- Click “Edit” located in the top right corner to edit privacy settings.
5. Select Audience
- Specify who can see your posts by clicking the audience selector tool button [2]
