Roku Player Setup Instructions
When you unpack your Roku box, you’ll find inside your Roku player a power adapter, a remote control, a pair of matched batteries, a standard A/V cable and a quick-start guide. You need a HDMI cable to get your HDTV and the player connected. It is sold separately online at Roku. You can also use the included A/V cable to connect the player to your TV. In addition, you will use wired or wireless networking to connect your Roku player to your Internet connection. The faster your internet connection, the better the video quality.
Next you need to do remote pairing. The LTD on front of the remote will blink when you insert the batteries and the remote will automatically connect to your Roku player. When pairing is completed, connect the power adapter.
Now turn on your TV. Make sure your TV is displaying the correct input. Then select your wireless network and enter your password. If you are using wired connection, you will need a standard Ethernet cable to connect your player to your router.
To complete the guided setup, go to www.roku.com/link and enter the link code from your TV. You will be prompted to create a Roku account during your setup which gives you access to Roku Channel Store. Enter your contact information and a payment method for Channel Store purchases.
